What It Is
What Is Sample Station Installation?
AES offers everything from design, project management, procurement, and field installation of grab sampling assets.
One scope, from the drawing board to the field:
Capabilities
Sample Station Installation Capabilities
Four parts of a field scope, from tie-in coordination to the operator handoff.
Site and Tie-In Coordination
Review the planned station location, process interfaces, available utilities, and access constraints. New connections or modifications to operating equipment require the owner's approved isolation and work controls.
Mounting and Station Placement
Install the station according to the approved arrangement and equipment requirements. The location should account for operation, container handling, maintenance access, and the surrounding work area.
Tubing and Supporting Connections
Complete the specified sample, return, utility, or other connections within the agreed scope. Materials and component ratings follow the approved design and process service.
Installation Checks and Handoff
Agreed checks document installation completion and identify remaining actions. Operator orientation or training can be coordinated where included, using the installed arrangement and approved facility procedures.
New or Replacement
New Stations and Replacement Projects
A new station may require additional supports or process connections. A replacement may need adaptation to existing interfaces or a different sampling method. In either case, current drawings and field verification help establish the actual work required.
Provide the station specification, process data, tie-in details, proposed location, and desired installation window. Identify owner-supplied equipment and any related contractor work before the final scope is developed.

Can AES install a station we have already purchased?
Yes, subject to review of the equipment, documentation, and proposed application. Provide the manufacturer's instructions and confirm that the selected station is suitable for the process conditions.
Does installation include new process tie-ins?
Tie-ins can be included in a defined project scope, with responsibilities, design approval, permits, and isolation requirements established in advance. They should not be assumed from the station purchase alone.
Can installation be planned during an outage?
Yes. Share the outage window, access requirements, and dependencies early. The final schedule depends on the confirmed scope, equipment availability, and site coordination.
Plan Your Sample Station Installation
Send AES the selected station information and available site documentation to define the field work, connection requirements, and handoff plan.
