Petrochemical Analytical and Sampling Requirements

Continuous analyzers and laboratory samples can support process-control and product-quality decisions.

These can all affect the package:

✓ Composition
✓ Phase behavior
✓ Pressure
✓ Temperature
✓ Material compatibility

Services

Services for Petrochemical Facilities

Three ways AES supports petrochemical measurement and sampling work.

Petrochemical analyzer package with sample handling
01

Analytical Packages and Sample Handling

Bring specified analyzers, conditioning components, switching equipment, and environmental protection into a coordinated package. The scope identifies how the sample is prepared and how the assembly connects to the facility.

02

Grab Sampling Station Support

Develop or update the sampling arrangement around the fluid, collection method, and laboratory requirements. Installation, maintenance, reporting, and operator support can be coordinated within the defined scope.

03

Custom Fabrication and Retrofit Work

Fabricate specified panels, cabinets, skids, or assemblies and define the field work required to install them. Existing-system projects begin with the equipment condition and the intended modification objective.

Application & Installation

Coordinate the Application and the Installation

Provide the process composition, operating limits, sample method, site standards, and available documentation. For Baton Rouge and other Gulf Coast projects, include access, outage, and mobilization requirements so the field scope can be reviewed without assuming local staffing or a fixed response time.

A field assessment can help organize reported symptoms, observed conditions, and the next information needed before selecting an equipment change.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Continuous analyzer and laboratory sample bottles at a chemical plant Ask us anything →

Can one design be used for several chemical streams?

Only after application review. Material compatibility, contamination risk, pressure and temperature limits, and analytical requirements may differ even when stations appear physically similar.

Can AES review a station after a process change?

Yes. Provide the previous and revised service conditions, the station documentation, and the reason for the review. The existing arrangement should be evaluated before it is assumed suitable for the new duty.

Does equipment installation establish environmental compliance?

No. Equipment can support the facility's defined objectives, but compliance depends on the applicable requirements, approved methods, operation, maintenance, and records.

Discuss a Petrochemical Analytical or Sampling Need
