Heated Tube Bundle Installation
Install Temperature-Controlled Sample Transport Around Real Field Conditions
AES supports the installation of specified heated tube bundles for process sample transport. The work connects the intended temperature-maintenance design with the actual route between the sample source and analytical equipment.

What It Is
What Is a Heated Tube Bundle?
A heated tube bundle combines one or more process tubes, insulation, and an outer protective covering.
A heated tube bundle combines:
Capabilities
Heated Bundle Installation Capabilities
Four steps from the proposed route to a verified installation.
Route and Support Planning
The proposed route is reviewed for length, access, obstructions, support locations, and allowable bends. Maintenance access and connection points should be considered before the bundle is installed.
Bundle Placement and Handling
Installation follows the specified handling, bend-radius, support, and protection requirements. Avoiding damage to tubing, insulation, tracing, and the outer jacket is important throughout placement.
End Terminations and Interfaces
Terminations require attention to sample connections, weather protection, and the tracing-system design. Electric and steam-traced bundles have different interface and inspection requirements that must be captured in the scope.
Installation Verification
Agreed checks may include physical inspection, identification, and verification of the relevant electrical or utility connections. Energization, temperature checks, and functional acceptance should follow the approved procedure and assigned responsibilities.
Sample Transport
Built Around Sample Transport Requirements
Provide the bundle specification, proposed route, required sample conditions, available utilities, environmental exposure, and area-classification requirements. Transport distance also affects sample delay and should be considered alongside temperature maintenance.
Where the route or current condition is undocumented, a field walkdown can help establish quantities and connection details before installation planning is finalized.

Why AES
Why Choose AES for Heated Tube Bundle Installation?
AES considers the bundle as part of the analytical system's sample path. That perspective links field routing decisions with the sample conditioning equipment and analyzer requirements at either end of the installation.

Can AES support electric and steam-traced bundle projects?
Both arrangements can be discussed during scope development. Confirm the selected bundle type, required trade scope, manufacturer instructions, and site requirements before the installation is scheduled.
Can an existing tube bundle be reused?
Its condition and suitability must be assessed. The operating requirements, route, tracing condition, and termination arrangement may limit reuse even when the tubing appears intact.
Does a heated bundle eliminate sample condensation?
Not by itself. Condensation control depends on the sample composition, pressure, thermal design, operating conditions, and the full transport path. The bundle must be specified and operated for the actual application.
